In 2008 Tony Grammatis left the Chicago Board of Trade after working there for almost 20 years. He realized his job was quickly coming to an end with the emergence of electronic trading. Tony needed to figure out a new career, so he read through numerous business magazines trying to find inspiration. One advertisement stood out to him: customized sports balls with pictures on them. He thought to himself that’s easy….I can do that. After sharing his bright idea with his now wife Tina, Tony promptly ordered all of the necessary gear to start customizing sports balls on his own. Was this decision a bit impulsive? Sure, but Tony is the kind of guy who likes to take a risk and bet on himself.

That risk paid off as he soon expanded customizing sports balls to including mugs and mouse pads. Tony spent 5 years working out of his parent’s basement before eventually landing the current location on Foster Avenue. What started as only customizing hard goods has since flourished into a full service screen printing and embroidery shop. Tony, who was born and raised in Chicago, has strong roots in the community which allowed him to support numerous local businesses throughout the years.
