  6. Public Works / Water 
    The Village of Elmwood Park Public Works Department consists of 22 employees. It is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of village streets, parks, street sweeping, tree trimming, street signs, roadway striping, branch pick-up, E-recycling, street lighting, and maintaining all village fleet vehicles as well as seasonal details such as flower planting, leave removal, snow plowing, tree planting, street crack filling, and holiday decorating.
